We are proud to present to your attention VIAGGIO AIR – a private Bulgarian airline company, registered on 11.09.2002 in Sofia, Bulgaria in full accordance with all rules and regulations of the State Legislative Authorities. The basic commercial aviation activities of our company are domestic and international passenger flights and wet leasing of aircraft. VIAGGIO AIR is based in Sofia but is authorized to perform flights from Varna, Plovdiv, Bourgas and Gorna Oriahovica airports.

VIAGGIO AIR owns two aircraft type ATR 42-300. These aircraft are equipped with a third generation navigation system GNSS and CATII system for landing in conditions of very low visibility as well as with a noise reducing system that can guarantee 30% less noise emissions . The PW 120 engines allow taking off at 17 tones of maximum weight and height up to 7 500 meters at average speed of 500 km/h. The interior of our aircraft offers high level comfort.
 
Flight, technical and cabin staff are former Balkan Bulgarian Airlines employees of very high qualification and considerable professional experience on various aircraft type – ATR, Boeing, Antonov , Tupolev, etc. VIAGGIO AIR offers catering with plentiful menu and an option to make your special order 24 hour before the flight.

Government decision No 626 and No 625 , dated 5th  September 2003, states that VIAGGIO AIR is authorized to perform commercial air transportation under the conditions of the bilateral agreement between Bulgaria and Turkey and Bulgaria and Austria.

VIAGGIO AIR started regular flights on the rotation Sofia – Vienna – Sofia on 22.12.2003 with four flights per week ( Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday ) and on the rotation Sofia – Istanbul – Sofia with  three flights per week ( Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday ). VIAGGIO AIR performs domestic flights Sofia-Varna-Sofia starting 02.05.2004 with six flights per week.We are executing charter flights that cover up to 3 800 km with no intermediate landing to refuel.
